It’s the weekend and the end of a busy week for many of us for others, your week might just be starting.
Either way, don’t forget to make time to pamper yourself this weekend or at the end of your work week.
Don’t say “I haven’t got time! There’s so much to do before the day is up!” “There’s cleaning to do, the kids to feed, the shopping to be done…” All this is true and certainly tasks that cannot be neglected unfortunately. However, it is important to stop and refresh yourself so that you can be the best you each day and ready for the week ahead.
So whether you are a student or a stay at home parent or a working parent or a juggling it all parent, here’s a few tips that our team at My Favourite Physio uses, on how you can pamper yourself so that you can start your day fresh and energised and end your day calm and relaxed.
Tip #1:
Start your day with a great facial routine! A good clean face will make a huge difference to how fresh you feel for the whole day! Our Team recently started using an ultrasound facial cleaning device as part of our morning routine, and the impact is amazing! It doesn’t add more time to your day washing your face but cleans better than using your hands alone!
Tip #2:
Enjoy a refreshing glass of water with a slice of lemon or mint during the day. Just that hint of fruit or mint will add a zing to your day while you rehydrate.
Tip #3:
End your day by taking 10 minutes to unwind from your day with your favourite activity. This might be a cup of tea and a book to read in your favourite chair, or writing your journal to mark your wins and lessons for the day!
Tip #4:
At the end of your week, pamper yourself with a facial mask treatment to rehydrate your skin or soak in a bath for 10 minutes to ease your tired muscles. Our Team uses a face mask device that delivers a spa treatment mask in 90 seconds! The weekly routine will boost your skin and how you feel for the week!
