Reviewing how your 2022 went
Wondering why some people seem to achieve a lot in their 12 months

Ever heard of the saying “End your year before it Starts!” Well, Here at My Favourite Physio, it’s one of the key reasons why our Team manages to achieve our personal and professional goals each year! What this means for our Team is that by planning our year ahead week by week, we are able to set our goals and plan how to achieve it. You can do it too!
Here’s the 5 Steps to Planning A Winning 2023:
1. Look at every area of your life – Financial, Relationships, Work/Study, Personal, Health. Rate Out of 10, how happy and satisfied you are with each area of your life at this moment in time. With 1 being really unhappy and dissatisfied and 10 being excited and extremely satisfied. State why you gave yourself that rating for each area of your life.
2. Think about each area of your life and how you would like to be in 12 months time. Rate out of 10, how happy and satisfied you want to be in each area of your life in 12 months time. State why you would be feeling that way in each area of your life in 12 months time.
3. Now, looking at each area of your life and set specific goals you want to achieve to make that 12 month future rating of happiness and satisfaction come true. For example, to achieve a 8/10 health goal in 2023, I will participate in a 45 minutes workout 3 times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6.30pm.
5. Goals setting should include a list of Stops and Starts. A Stop List is a list of tasks or habits that you do now which is not helpful to your goals, that you need to stop doing. A Start List Is a list of tasks or habits that you don’t do now which you need to start doing or to do more of. For example, I will stop saying yes to everyone when I know I have too much on my day.
4. Take a 2023 Diary and plan your year, blocking times for each of the tasks you have set to help you achieve your goals for each area of your life. If it isn’t in the diary, it doesn’t happen.if it’s in the diary, DO IT!
