Heel Pain…Is it Sever’s Disease?🤔 Is your child complaining of heel pain after soccer? ⚽️Do you notice your child limping after playing sports only? Has your child been putting up with intermittent heel 😣 pain for months now?

Your child could have Sever’s Disease. Sever’s disease is a common cause of heel pain in childhood and early adolescence. The condition often occurs in children 👧 who are highly active, particularly in sports involving running and jumping. In Sever’s disease repeated running 🏃‍♂️ and jumping leads to a small injury where the calf muscle tendon attaches to the heel bone. The child may limp and complain of 😳 pain during or after activity. One or both feet may be affected.

At My Favourite Physio, we help children with heel pain get back onto their feet 👣 and into their favourite sports sooner without pain persisting.
