08 Dec 😬Do you experience neck and shoulder pain that often builds up into Tension Headache🤕 or Migraine episode 🥺Been trying regular massages for your neck and shoulders but they don’t seem to stop the Tension Headache or Migraine episode
The Statista Research Department reports that there are 15,100 massage therapists in Australia, so it is no wonder that many people do access massage therapists to help relief their muscle pains and aches. However, there are some conditions where people find that regular massages do not help relief their pain. 🥺One of those conditions is Tension Headaches and Migraines that originate from neck and shoulder pain.
3 Reasons why soft tissue massage often does not work to relief neck and shoulder pain that causes Tension Headaches and Migraines.
🤕1. Headaches and Migraines often come from the misalignment of the first 3 joints in the neck. So releasing muscle tightness in the neck and shoulder muscles without correcting the neck joints tends not to effectively resolve neck pain and headaches.
🤕2. Headaches and Migraines often come from muscle tightness of the deep neck and shoulder muscles. Often Massage Therapists are working on the superficial neck and shoulder muscles and not the deeper small muscles in the base of the head and neck. As such, the massages only give temporary relief.
🤕3.Extreme muscle spasm and pain in the neck and shoulders often limits a Massage Therapist from pushing firmly on the muscles to relief the neck and shoulder pain. As such, the deeper muscles in the neck and shoulders are not released to resolve Tension Headaches and Migraines.
