if you answered yes to any of the above, then your child  may be experiencing GrowingÂ
 Pains.
The cause of growing pains is unknown.GrowingÂ
pains are real but essentially harmless muscularÂ
 pain that can affect childrenÂ
between the ages of three and five years, and from eight to 11 years. Boys and girls are equally affected. Some young people may continue to experience growing pains into their early adolescence or teenage years.
If your child is complaining of leg  pain during the day, it’s less likely to be growingÂ
pains. If your child is limping because of legÂ
pain, then it is very unlikely to be growingÂ
pains. If you have any concerns about your child, the best thing to do is to ring My Favourite Physio on (02) 9790 4233 or Dm us @myfavouritephysio and speak to one of our Expert Paediatric Physiotherapists.
