If you answered yes to any of the above statements, you might be experiencing silent migraines
Migraines can be be classified into 3 categories. The first is head pain with aura, the second is head pain without aura, and the third is aura without head pain. Auras are secondary symptoms often associated with migraines such as sensitivity to light ,sound , smells , nausea, vomiting, dizziness, brain fog and visual disturbances.
In the case of silent migraines, there is no head pain or headaches but only auras. This means that silents migraines are often poorly diagnosed and missed! Due to aura symptoms only it is easy to think that the inner ear is the cause of the dizziness and nausea, the eyes are the cause of the visual disturbances or the brain is the cause of all the symptoms! However many Silent Migraines Suffers will have undergone all types of brain scans and investigations with various medical specialists to only be told that everything is normal and that there is nothing causing their aura symptoms.
