Neesha Gan – Principal Physiotherapist
Neesha is passionate about helping individuals achieve their personal goals in life through Physiotherapy. She aims to always respectfully assist each person to maintain or return to living life with independent mobility so that life is not just functional but fun. She is mindful of the journey through life from birth to ageing and values the need to give and maintain dignity and independence at all stages of life.
Neesha completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours at The University of Sydney in 1999. Since then she has worked in Australia, UK and Singapore, gaining varied experience working in both large and small institutions including acute in-patient hospital settings as well as out-patient private practice settings. She has extensive experience in the management of acute sports injuries, management of acute and chronic respiratory conditions, stroke and amputee rehabilitation, as well as post-operative rehabilitation of the hip, knee and shoulder surgeries.
On return to Sydney from England in 2005, Neesha joined Liverpool Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital working in Aged Care, Renal, ICU and Respiratory wards. During this time, she had the opportunity to train in the area of Paediatric Physiotherapy at Liverpool Hospital gaining valuable experience working with Developmental Peadiatric Teams, Neonatal Intensive Care, Outpatient Paediatric and Feeding Clinic. In pursuit of more experience in critical care in peadiatrics, she is also currently employed as weekend physiotherapist at The Children’s Hospital Westmead. She is also a committee member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association NSW Paediatric National Group since 2007, the NSW Private Business Association since 2012 and the Advocacy and Awards Portfolio of the Australasian Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine since 2016.
In 2006, in line with her values to making a difference to lives and communities through Physiotherapy, My Favourite Physio was established. My Favourite Physio provides Physiotherapy services for all ages, with the vision for each person to move well to live well. We are committed to your health and wellbeing.
Vivian graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) in 2018 and Master of Physiotherapy in 2020. She is passionate about working with the little ones and is keen to help make a difference in the lives of them and their families through physiotherapy.
Vivian has a strong interest in helping people of all ages and abilities to maintain a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. She started her career gaining experience in aged care, then joined My Favourite Physio in 2022 and has been very excited ever since! She strives to deliver up-to-date and evidence-based assessment and treatment for each child in order to help them achieve their own goals and reach their full potentials. Vivian aims to make therapy fun and individualised so that the little one find that it is enjoyable and meaningful in their journey of learning. She loves being able to share the excitement and happiness kids and their families receive when they achieve their gross motor milestones.
When not at work, you will usually find Vivian at the gym, exploring cafes or indulging in an Acai bowl at the beach. She also enjoys experimenting different delicious recipes in the kitchen whilst listening to music.
Amy Ngo – Reception
Amy has been part of the reception team since 2010, starting as our Receptionist, she has proven to be a reliable, caring and empathetic member of the Reception Team. Amy is now our Practice Manager, the powerhouse engineer who keeps our practice running smoothly each day. She is the friendly face and voice you will be greeted with. She is passionate about helping each person with their queries and putting them onto the path to recovery with our Physiotherapists.
Also lovingly known as Aunty Amy, to our little ones here, she is the one to go to for a cookie after a hard session of Physiotherapy, or for a cuddle while waiting for mum or dad to come back to pick up.
If you ever need any help with your appointments, support for your NDIS journey or even simply a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on, you can always trust Amy will be there for you.
Dianne Mabalot – Marketing Assistant
Dianne joined our team in 2021 as our Marketing Assistant, bringing a fresh look to our social media content and helping us to provide more useful daily content to our followers and the general public. Dianne brings to the team 10 years of experience in management and marketing.
Dianne is often behind the scenes diligently working but her presence is definitely felt and seen daily in the creatives for every post on My Favourite Physio's Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin accounts. With 14 videos and 14 still posts produced per week, Dianne is our secret weapon to accelerating our presence on social media and allowing us to reach out and help more families both locally in Australia and overseas internationally.
