8th March 2021 is International Women’s Day! 👩👩‍🦱

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating 🥳the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women – while also marking a call to action 💪for accelerating gender equality.

The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2021 is 🙋‍♀️ ‘Choose To Challenge’. A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. 🙋‍♀️We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world. From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge.🙋‍♀️

An equal world is an enabled world. 💪Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts 🤔and actions – all day, every day. We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world. Equality is not just a women’s issue, it’s also a business issue. Gender equality is essential for economies and communities to thrive. A gender equal world can be healthier, wealthier and more harmonious.🥰 The race is on for the gender equal boardroom, a gender equal government, gender equal media coverage, gender equal workplaces, gender equal sports 🏀🏈coverage, more gender equality in health and wealth.

Here at My Favourite Physio, 🤓we believe in gender equality and our Team certainly reflects equality. In all our interactions, our Team knows and values the role of 👩‍🦱women, 👵🏻grandmothers, 👩‍🦳mothers, mother-figures 👩‍🦰and daughters👱‍♀️. One of the ways, we actively choose to create an equal world, is by calling out behaviours 🙅‍♀️that disrespect women, while role modelling to our peers, our children, our clients and our community respect and equality for all, especially towards women.Together we can be #ChooseToChallenge.
