21 Dec Christmas is nearly here…
The children are getting excited with anticipation…..unfortunately due to Covid-19 pandemic over the past 2 years, this Christmas many children and families will be going without.
Here are some great ways you can help give hope where it’s needed most this Christmas:
#1. Donate to the Salvation Army Christmas appeal.
With your donation the Salvation Army can help those struggling alone, and families battling to keep food on the table this Christmas. Go to https://www.salvationarmy.org.au/…/get-involved-this…/
#2. Volunteer with the Salvos.
At Christmas time the Salvation Army helps around 70,000 households, and they need your help to give hope where it’s needed most. Go to https://www.salvationarmy.org.au/…/volunteer-this…/
#3. Donate a gift under the Kmart Wishing Tree.
The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal – Australia’s largest and longest-running gift collection appeal – is back again, to help make Christmas and New Year a bit brighter for those experiencing hardship. Go to https://www.salvationarmy.org.au/…/kmart-wishing-tree…/
#4. Myer Bigger Than ChristmasCampaign.
Since 1993 Myer has been supporting The Salvation Army by raising much needed funds for their Christmas Appeal. All funds raised through the instore POS Round Up and $1 from the sale of every Myer Charity Bear item will go towards the Myer Community Fund, which proudly supports The Salvation Army, Myer’s national charity partner, and their local charities across Australia. Go to https://www.salvationarmy.org.au/…/myer-bigger-than…/
Together we can help make Christmas a time of hope for Australian families who are struggling to get by.
