And so, this is where the core muscles step in. 💪Core muscles will contract and brace the spine before and during movement so that it limits exactly how much movement occurs in the spine so that there is no excessive stress placed on the joints of the spine! 😮 What this means is that if you have poor ability or strength to turn on your core muscles, the spine will be too free to move placing unwanted stress on the individual joints of the spine leading to damage to the joints and muscle spasm of the superior muscles around the lower back which ultimately result in lower back pain! 😳😳😳
