Did you know that men are dying on average 6 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons
Men’s health is in crisis. Unchecked, prostate cancer rates will double over the next 15 years. Testicular cancer rates have already doubled in the last 50. And across the world, one person dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 75% of all suicides.
Movember is a leading charity changing the face of men’s health by uniting experts from around the world to collaborate on projects that will fundamentally change the way men in need are treated and supported for the three biggest health issues facing men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.
This November you can be part of the Movember movement to stop men from dying too young.
