24 Mar Is lower back 😳 pain stopping you from working? Have you been dealing with a recurrent lower back pain😣 for a long time? Has treatment not been satisfactory 😰in completely resolving your lower back pain?
Lower back pain can be persistent and ongoing if you have poor habits when it comes to using your lower back. Here is the number 1 ☝️reason behind why you may be experiencing recurrent lower back and why your lower back pain may be persisting and not getting better. 🤔
#1.Sitting in a slouched or over arching lower back for a prolonged period of time! 🕰
This is really common in students who tend to sit for long hours. Naturally overtime their lower backs start rounding with a slouching posture or they tend to over arch their lower backs in an attempt to correct their slouched posture in sitting.
😬Both these positions in the long term can be a cause of lower back pain.
To picture what your lower back muscles are going through, take your fingers and bend them backwards and hold the position.🖐 If you hold and sustain your fingers in this overstretched position for a short time it may be okay for your fingers, however if you hold it longer for a few hours it will start to cause some discomfort and give you issues. 😰The same applies for the lower back muscles, if you place your spine in extreme ranges or overwork certain muscles in the same position for prolonged periods of time, it will start to cause discomfort and give you low back pain. 😣
However, fixing poor habits is actually very difficult. 😬And a good assessment is required in diagnosing where and why the poor habits started.
