😳 Have you bought your little toddler soft sole pre walker socks because “bare feet walking is good for a child’s development”? 🥴 Have you noticed that your toddler is still not yet walking despite the different types of pre walker shoes and socks you have been trying

🤔Popular media and advertising would have most parents believe that bare feet walking🦶 is the best thing for a child who is learning to walk. According to some parenting experts “barefoot play allows an individual to develop balance and flexibility. This is ultimately linked to correct posture, gross-motor skills, eye-foot co-ordination, spatial awareness, and balancing of the chemicals that cause anxiety.” To counter the dangers of walking bare feet in the outdoors, there has been a large number of soft sole pre walker shoes and socks now readily available online and in stores for parents to purchase.

However, there are some children where barefoot walking actually causes more harm than good for their foot bone developmental, gross motor skills, balance and coordination. 🥴

Here are 3 Signs to indicate that barefoot soft sole pre walker shoes or socks are not suitable for your child
🦶1. If you notice that your toddler is collapsing in the middle of their foot when in standing so that their foot and toes point outwards.

🦶2. If you notice that your toddler is curling their toes to grip the floor when in standing and they seem to be too scared to take a step by themselves.

🦶3. If you notice that your toddler seems to lock their knees when walking and tend to walk with a their feet wide apart.

If your toddler is demonstrating any of the above 3 signs, they probably would need more support in their foot and ankle to allow them to learn to walk properly and prevent foot bone deformities from developing.
