Is your child complaining of foot pain 😣because their 👟 shoes are feeling too small and tight, BUT you are thinking that the school term is nearly over for the year and they can just put up with their shoes for another few more weeks… 🤞

If that’s you, you are not alone in thinking so. That’s because with the constantly retail sale cycle of “Back To School” sales, we have been subconsciously trained to only buy school shoes 👞 whenever it’s the school holidays before term starts, so we can get discounts and save some money 💵 on school shoes. However, children grow in cyclic bursts of growth spurts which are not always in synch with the school term dates and “Back To School” sales. So if your child suddenly experiences a growth spurt in the middle of school term, and they start to complain of foot pain, it is important to review their school shoes and buy new ones. Wearing poorly fitted shoes can affect the way your child walks, runs and jumps. 🙁

3 Tips to help you find the balance of buying the right size shoes for your child while making your dollar stretch:🤗

1. When buying shoes 👟 make sure that your child has at least one thumb nail width of space for growth when you buy their shoes.

2. If your child is between shoes sizes, buy the bigger size and place an additional shoe 👟 insole to make it a better fit for now, and when your child has a growth spurt, you can remove the shoe insole.

3. If you suspect that your child is about to experience a growth spurt in the next month or so, stock up an extra pair of shoes the next size up during a “Back To School” 🏫 sale next time.
